Scott Foster to Speak on “The Business of Cannabis”

The Western MA Combo Conference: Hot Topics in Accounting and Tax is presented by the MA Society of CPAs and will take place on June 18^th at the Sheraton Hotel in Springfield. Scott Foster will present on the business aspects of cannabis. With cannabis companies springing up throughout the Commonwealth, the chances are likely that one of your clients is already involved in the industry, whether directly or indirectly. In this session, we’ll discuss how these businesses are structured, what issues you need to be thinking about if you have a cannabis company as a client – or if your client is a landlord or investor in a cannabis company and how the industry is rapidly evolving.
