Bulkley Richardson, a thriving and dynamic firm of 40+ lawyers based in Springfield, Massachusetts, is seeking a Trusts and Estates attorney with 7+ years of experience in sophisticated estate planning and administration. There is a potential succession planning component in this role as the right candidate may eventually fill a key leadership position in our Trusts and Estates Department. This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to assume and build a book of business in a collegial work environment.
The successful candidate must have experience and strong professional and academic credentials, as well as excellent analytical, writing, communication and client advocacy skills. An entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen are essential.
Primary Qualifications Include:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts
- 7+ years of experience with trusts and estates planning
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability, with ability to multi-task
- Time-management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- An LLM degree and strong community ties are pluses
