Bulkley Richardson Provides Training in Support of National Expungement Week
In support of National Expungement Week, the Hampden County Bar Association, Center for Social Justice at Western New England School of Law, Sigma Pi Phi, Insa and Bulkley Richardson are partnering to provide a combination of legal relief (record clearance and/or sealing of records), fine and fee reduction, education about changes in record clearance policy and other services needed by individuals and communities that have been harmed by the war on drugs.
On September 30, a virtual clinic for residents of Western MA will educate attendees about the process for sealing and expungement records, as well as the overall movement surrounding Record Expungement Week. This educational clinic is free and open to the public.
In an effort to continue the work of National Expungement Week, join lawyers and current law students on October 8 for a virtual training to assist individuals with sealing and expunging criminal records. The training will be presented by Judge John Greaney and Stephen Holstrom, litigation attorneys at Bulkley Richardson. For more information or to register for either event, please click here.
