Bio

Steve Holstrom is a partner in the litigation department at Bulkley Richardson, the area’s most recognized law firm.

Steve has extensive experience in litigation and has handled complex cases in several areas of the law in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. He has litigated commercial disputes, education cases, tort actions, shareholder disputes, insurance cases, civil rights cases, cybersecurity cases, land use cases, and complex class actions, among other branches of practice.

Steve also represents hospitals, physicians and other medical providers in medical malpractice cases and for other health law related issues, such as managed care and cybersecurity litigation.

Steve boasts numerous successful jury trials and appeals.

Steve was named to 2025 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America in Education Law and Professional Malpractice Law for his “outstanding professional excellence.” He is also a Thomson Reuters Super Lawyer in Civil Litigation, a peer-influenced and researched-driven process to select to top five percent (5%) of  attorneys in a  particular practice area.

He serves as the Vice President of the Gray House, Inc., a social services organization in the North End of Springfield, and is the President Elect of the Hampden County Bar Association.

He serves on the Board of Directors of The Gray House, Inc., a social services organization in Springfield’s North End, and the Town of Wilbraham By-Law Study Committee.
