Michael H. Burke
Mike Burke is a longtime member of the firm’s Executive Committee and leads the Professional Malpractice practice group. His practice consists of primarily defending providers in malpractice suits and before regulatory boards, agencies and committees.

Experience
In his forty-one (41) years of practice, Mike has tried complex cases at every trial level in Massachusetts and has handled cases before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court.
Mike has successfully defended, and continues to defend, cases involving allegations of failure to timely diagnose cancer leading to significant disability and death; failure to diagnose conditions leading to quadriplegia, paraplegia, significant disability and severe disfigurement; and negligent management of labor and delivery causing severe neurological damage to a newborn.
Honors
Mike has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers® for the past 20 years in the areas of Medical Malpractice Law (Defendants) and Personal Injury Litigation (Defendants). He has also received an AV Preeminent Rating, the highest rating for ethical standards and professional excellence from Martindale Hubbell.
