Bio
Dennis LaRochelle has three decades of experience handling complex litigation and has won several multi-million-dollar disputes in the Massachusetts federal and state courts, earning a reputation as one of the best trial lawyers in Berkshire County. Dennis has tried cases in federal and state courts in Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He regularly tries and wins cases in the Probate Court in the four western Massachusetts counties, as well as the Land Court and Superior Court.
Because of his vast experience and success in family law, Dennis regularly represents clients in all aspects of domestic relations matters, from divorce and child custody disputes to drafting prenuptial agreements and divorce settlements, to guardianships and adoptions, resolving disputes creatively and effectively. Dennis recently won a ground-breaking case in front of the Supreme Judicial Court, the highest court in Massachusetts. The case was ground-breaking, setting a new standard for fathers seeking to establish parental rights.
Before launching his legal career, Dennis was an officer on a nuclear ballistic missile submarine in the United States Navy, making several deployments to the North Atlantic from 1982 through 1987. He has also worked as a quality assurance engineer and assistant project manager on a number of construction and development contracts for the Navy from 1987 through 1993.
