Seunghee Cha to Speak on Multi-Disciplinary Perspectives on “Solo Agers”

Seunghee Cha will join a distinguished panel on Tuesday, November 12 from 3:00-6:00pm for an informational and interactive symposium to learn more about the growing population of U.S. residents now being referred to as “Aging Solos” and their unique needs.

Who are Aging Solos? Adults age 50+ without children or other close family members living nearby, singles (widowed, divorced, separated, never married), or those in a couple, but aware that one member will eventually be solo.

Why is This Important? Approximately one-third of Baby Boomers are unmarried, and these Solo Agers have different needs than other Age 50+ clients. Traditionally, family-focused financial, medical, trust, legacy and estate planning services need to be tailored to meet the often complex needs of this increasing portion of our population.

Please join your colleagues from law, healthcare, psychotherapy, social work, financial services, the clergy, real estate, aging and geriatric care to explore a cross-disciplinary model to enhance our services for Aging Solos.

Date: Tuesday, November 12 from 3:00-6:00pm

Location: Hadley Farms Meeting House, Route 9, Hadley MA
