Sarah has experience advising clients in the areas of business formation, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and corporate structuring of businesses in regulated industries. Sarah counsels clients in protecting and maximizing their intellectual property via trademarks, copyrights, and licensing agreements. Plus, she also assists businesses with designing, implementing and auditing corporate compliance programs under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Sarah’s practice encompasses a wide range of industries and clients including architecture and engineering firms, defense, firearms and safety / security companies, physician and dental groups, surgical institutions, biotechnology and medical device companies, entrepreneurs and solo-preneurs, closely-held / family businesses, restaurant and bar owners, equestrian facilities / family farms, crafters, gourmet markets, artists and musicians. She also possesses a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies, which have served her well in several industries.

She has successfully represented employers in a variety of employment matters before the MCAD, EEOC, and State and Federal courts; she has also represented businesses and licensed professionals before a variety of State and Federal agencies, including the ATF, the U.S. Dept. of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission, and the respective Boards of Registration of Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Medicine. 

She is a frequent speaker and lecturer on employment law, corporate compliance, intellectual property protection and export control at conferences, panels and workshops across the country.
